Bodies As Medicine

Embrace your body as a sacred portal of truth, pleasure, and embodiment.

You live in a body — but how deeply do you know it?

In a world that taught us to hide, fix, or numb our bodies, this workshop is an invitation to meet yourself with compassion, truth, and reverence. A tender, powerful journey into embodiment, vulnerability, and self-love.

Overview

Bodies As Medicine is a workshop held in a safely-held space, designed to support your relationship with your own body — especially its appearance. Through witnessing, embodiment, and simple but profound practices, we’ll soften shame, awaken presence, and rewire how we see and feel ourselves.

This is not a workshop about “body positivity” as a concept — it’s an experience of meeting the real, raw, miraculous truth of your physical form… and allowing others to meet it too.

Optional undressing is part of the journey — always at your pace, always with full agency.

Why Bodies Matter

We all have bodies, yet most of us only see a narrow slice of what’s “allowed” — filtered, sexualised, idealised.
No wonder so many of us carry distortion, discomfort, or shame.

Our bodies are our most faithful companions. They breathe us, bleed us, love us, hold our pain, carry our pleasure, and never leave our side.
They deserve our honesty. Our attention. Our love.

This workshop invites you to reconnect not just with your image, but with your soul’s home — your living, feeling, sensing, sacred body.

What to Expect

A held space where consent and choice are foundational

  • Gentle body-based warm-ups to arrive in safety

  • A powerful circle process: share your relationship with your body and, if you wish, reveal it

  • Compassionate witnessing with no commentary or fixing

  • Embodiment practices: shaking, sounding, free movement

  • Mirror work or inner-lover dance (with or without actual mirrors)

  • Triad practice: receive love and support for a body part you struggle to accept

  • Integration and optional journaling prompts

Undressing is always optional and guided with clarity and care. You’ll never be asked to do anything you don’t choose.

Why This Matters for Temple Arts

Your body is your temple.

If you want to walk the path of sacred intimacy, ecstatic embodiment, or conscious sexuality — you must include your body in its whole truth.

This workshop cultivates the self-trust, emotional safety, and body reverence required for deeper temple work. It clears the inner lens so you can meet others — and be met — without the fog of shame or judgement.

If you’re drawn to Tantra, ISTA, embodiment work or Temple spaces… this is core medicine for the path.
