Joy Mittens is a shamanic sexual facilitator and guide from the UK. She has dedicated herself to this work for 5 years and is passionate about bringing people to life through taking them back to a state of Primal Innocence, where their soul can shine through the layers of conditioning.

Shiva is a shamanic facilitator, he has a background working with plant medicines and has trained with Joy and with the International School of Temple Arts (ISTA) He is passionate about working with life force energy and holding space for transformation.

Sensual and intimate massage for women and for men (and anyone in between). A gentle opening of the channels through massage for deep relaxation and moving of energy. This can be a blissful experience of relaxation, it can be experienced as energy moving through the body, and/or it can also bring up blockages that are ready to be witnessed and held - painful emotions, memories, shame - I'm here to meet whatever there is with loving presence. This can include massage of the external parts of the yoni or lingam if desired (the intention will be for relaxation, not arousal through stimulation, although arousal may be present and is welcome).

It begins with an in depth learning about the essentials of boundaries, consent, and emotional maturity, through building a healthy relationship with your own body and the way eros moves through it, to (optionally) sharing it with others and divinity itself.

we are picking apart all of the baggage that we have confused with eros, and discovering the pure signal underneath the noise. We are getting back in touch with the sense of wonder, magic and joy in your relationship with your self and the world around you before you learned that there was anything to be ashamed or scared of, opening a pathway for the divine to flow through you.

WHAT IS "SEXUAL" "SHAMANISM"?

Both of these words are gateways to a whole universe of significance and meaning, that is far beyond what the mind can comprehend, and as such it is very difficult to write a definition in words. I will attempt to wrap some words around what they mean - or at least what they mean to me - as a portal through which hopefully you will get some glimpse of what lies inside.

SHAMANISM

One way I like to describe shamanism is that it is a communion with Nature. Communion with the animals, the plants, the rocks, even the matter of our own bodies. It does not shy away from death and decay and the dark, but recognises it as sacred and essential and, in its own way, incredibly beautiful.

We are the sunrise, the butterfly’s wing, the kiss of sun on skin. We are also the worms, the decaying bacteria, the lion standing over its kill.

Shamanism allows us to descend into the density of our own humanity. It gives space for the not so popular aspects - the anger, the jealousy, even the hate. We get to meet our own demons, the parts of us we have relegated to the shadows in our scramble to believe that we are not that. And in the shadows they lurk, causing havoc when we let down our guard for a moment. But they are not our enemies, when our hearts can grow large enough to embrace the darker aspects of what it means to be human, they become our greatest allies in moving through this world and making a difference in what we came here to do.

SEXUALITY

One of the most suppressed, demonised and misunderstood parts of our natures, and yet it is the place in which we were all made, and can be unmade. Sexual energy is life force energy. It is pure aliveness. It is the very foundation of the natural world. In our society it has been twisted and put into a box of rubbing genitals together, when in reality it exists in everything that we are and everything that we do.

Sexual energy is the great magnifier. If you are willing to look at your shit, here is the lens that will show it all to you in excruciating detail. A medicine as potent as any plant medicine, and you don’t have to travel the world in search of it.

We all know the potential that the misuse of sexual energy has to harm, to destroy lives and communities. It has just as much power to heal and transform and forge a new world.

Humans connected to their sexual energy and aligned with love do not make good slaves to any system. Putting sex in the box of shame and evil is one of the great tools of control that we have been subjugated to.
